Who is this class recommended for? The Balance class is a 1 hour class that is designed specifically to keep participants “safe on their feet”. Understanding the primary risk factors associated with falling and knowing what functional exercises will be beneficial in decreasing the risk for a fall provides knowledge and practical work for class members to increase function & long-term independence. A chair is utilized for balance exercises if needed.

What should I bring? Wear comfortable clothes and supportive shoes. Weights, ball, large exercise/balance ball can be utilized or a chair, low- level stepping, sturdy bench or stool.
